Entering

Anything you publish during the week is entered automatically. There is nothing to sign up for.

  • Build one here or bring your own. Write a character from scratch, or import a card you made elsewhere with the card importer (Tavern PNG or JSON). Either counts.
  • Imported cards are welcome. Plenty of good cards float around with no clear author. Bring them over. Just make sure what you publish is genuinely good, and don't pass off something that is already popular here as new.
  • It has to be public. Private characters can't be entered, since nobody can chat with them.
  • Quality is the whole game. A thin one-paragraph character will not hold anyone's attention long enough to score. A real personality, a scenario with somewhere to go, and example dialogue in the character's voice are what make people stay.
  • It must be created during the contest week to be eligible.

Winning

Entries are ranked by how many different people chat with them, not by how many chats. One very enthusiastic fan does not outweigh a genuinely popular character, and it is why sharing your character is the single most useful thing you can do.

  • Share it around. Post it in the Discord, on Reddit, on X, anywhere your character would find its audience. More people trying it is exactly what the score measures.
  • Your own chats don't count. Neither do very short ones. A conversation has to actually get going.
  • One prize per creator per week, so publishing five characters won't sweep the board. Prizes spread around.
  • Every entry is reviewed before anything is paid. Numbers that look self-inflated (a cluster of fresh accounts, one person driving everything) are disqualified.

Claiming your gift card

  1. Winners are announced here when the week closes, and the exact scores are published at the same time.
  2. Join the easyerp Discord if you aren't already in it. Codes are only sent there.
  3. Tell us which Discord account to send it to, and the code arrives as a direct message from the admin.
  4. Nobody will ever ask you for a password, a payment, or your account details to release a prize. If a message asks for any of that, it isn't us.
